Photography by Mark D. Lipton - About and Services
Hello and welcome to Photography by Mark D. Lipton.

My name is Mark and I am a photographer based in Riverview, New Brunswick, on the eastern coast of Canada.

I have been doing photography since the early 1990's. Although, I have been an artist since I was a child. In other words; art has always been a part of my life.

When I started doing photography, digital cameras didn't exist. It was film or nothing.

I began my pursuit of photography with the original Canon Rebel (35mm film SLR). I have upgraded several times over the years. In fact, I stopped doing photography for a year or two, due to the high cost of processing and inconvenience involved.

Since then, I have purchased a digital SLR and haven't looked back. Although, I still own a couple 35mm cameras, I rarely (if ever) use them.

These days, I still create my photographs with the help of the Canon EOS camera system and I use both artificial lighting (strobes and flashes) and natural light (sunlight or moonlight) to create my art, depending on the environment and the desired result.

My post processing routine is fairly basic. I generally do some basic color correction and sometimes a conversion to black and white or sepia.

Although I have the ability, I seldom do any other photo manipulation or alteration: unless requested by a client. I try to achieve my goal straight out of the camera.
