Fireworks, my first attempt...

July 1st was last night. Instead of simply going to watch the fireworks with my wife and dad; witch we generally do every year. I thought I'd try my hand at photographing them.

I took about 95 shots. Most turned ou ok. But I chose three in particular to showcase my first effort photographing fireworks.

My setup:

Canon 50D (digital SLR camera)
Sturdy Tripod (to help eliminate blur from the long exposure time)
Remote Shutter Release (so I could avoid any camera shake caused by pushing the shutter button)

I was a bit disappointed. The colors were mostly in the white and yellow range. There was not many other colors, like reds, blues, and greens.

However, I am pretty satisfied with my first effort at fireworks photography.
