To Edit Or Not To Edit

Personally, I feel that getting it right in the camera is important, as much as possible.


Post processing should be limited to small adjustments, color and toning, and maybe a crop or levelling the horizon.

But, I also think that each photographer has the right to present his or her work as he or she sees it. Except for photo journalism/documentary type work. That should be realistic.

Composition Rules

L earning the "Rules"of compostion is very important. However the term "Rules" has akways been overused. I personally think that the word "Rule" should be replaced by "Guideline" when talking about photography.

Learn the rules, then break them to suit your goal.
